Logistics and Registration Information

Conference Venue

The Eleventh Annual Conference on Advances in Cognitive Systems will from Monday, June 17, to Wednesday, June 19, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Research Area of the National Research Council (Area della Ricerca del CNR), whose address is Via Ugo La Malfa, 153, 90146 Palermo PA.

We highly recommend booking a hotel in the central area of Palermo, which will ensure easy access to the city's amenities. To reach the meeting venue, you can take the Metro (from Lolli Station or Central Station) in the direction of the airport and getting off at the La Malfa stop. The CNR is a four-minute walk away.

Conference Registration

Please register for ACS-2024 here. The fee is 370 Euros through June 7, 2024, whether you plan to attend the conference in person or virtually, and 400 Euros after that date. At least one co-author of every paper accepted for presentation at the meeting must pay the full registration fee.

Air Travel to Palermo

Most participants will be flying into the Falcone and Borsellino International Palermo Airport, which is located at Punta Raisi, 35 km (22 mi) away from the city of Palermo. There are three options for transport from and to the airport:

On the evening of June 18, 2024, there will be a Social Cocktail in the restaurant area of the Massimo Theatre, the largest lyric theatre in Italy and one of the largest opera houses in Europe. Participants will have the option of taking a tour of the Theatre.
